Some of our projects:
- Rang bells for the Salvation Army and raised over $5,800.00;
- Raised over $5,000 for the Canadian Cancer Society for 20 years of canvassing raising over $50,000.00;
- Marshalled, started, judged, and gave ribbons to participating persons with disabilities, for the 24th year of Operation Trackshoes at UVIC.
- Helped the Compassionate Warehouse load medical supplies, clothing and other supplies into containers for overseas delivery;
- Participated in the Annual Victoria Partnership Walk for the Aga Khan Foundation of Canada for the 16th year,
- Provided funs to Dr. Jim Sparling and his medical group fo their hands on project with Mengo Hospital in Kamala, Uganda;
- Assist Shelter Box Canada to provide temporary homes in disaster areas through out the world; and
- Sold Multiple Sclerosis Mother's Day Drive carnations.
- Hustled mountains of "junk and stuff", sold delicious baked goods and coffee, and priced, packed and swept up at our annual Giant Garage Sale, netting $2,641:
- Sold packaged and delivered over 540 pots of Spring Flowers for our annnual sale, netting $3,960.00:
- Partnered with the Canadian Frends of Mengo Hospital for an exciting African-themed Silent Auction & Dinner, netting a total of $23,026.00 towards the hospital and towards other Rotary Charities.
